Our story.

Christina & Allen Soboj originally took over ownership of Pearce's Restaurant & Bar at the Fox Bend Golf Course in Oswego, Illinois in 2020 right before the shutdown and new state guidelines for Illinois Restaurants. With a long background in food-service and catering, the team like many of their fellow restaurant owners, got creative and offered curbside pick-ups, bundle meals and a variety of catering options to suite the many needs at the time. (Note: Many of these services still exist.)

Now in 2022, the dream of updating and rebranding has finally been realized. The Restaurant & Bar plus the Lower Level are lighter, brighter and look like the spaces people dream of to host the special moments and gatherings life brings. (The Patio and Pavilion open up April through October and offer many outdoor options as well.) 

Many restaurants have been built using family recipes as well as the culinary skills of chefs and the same goes for Christina's GRILL & GATHERINGS. Over the years, we have served countless meals and spirits, catered thousands of events, watched many happy brides walk down the aisle and basked in the excitement of every detail in each meal served and event catered.

Christina's GRILL & GATHERINGS is simply committed to homemade dishes using fresh ingredients combined with outstanding customer service. Whether its a family meal, a date night, a birthday party for 25, a bridal shower for 50, a corporate event for 1000, or a wedding for 300, Christina and Allen will make sure we pay attention to every detail, every moment.
